A tradition of innovation.
Rapid technological progress, the globalisation of markets, the ever-increasing demands from our customers with regard to quality and profitability and the increasing complexity of our products all require innovation. For a light metal foundry such as Schulte & Schmidt that after almost 60 years continues to enjoy success at international level, innovation is essential - in terms of our processes, the "mindset" of all our employees and our technology.

  • This is why we have long since been more than "only" a sand casting, gravity and pressure die casting foundry. We are also a customer-oriented full-service provider, with services ranging from the initial development idea to ready-assembled components that are delivered just in time.
  • This is why our certified service and production processess are subject to continuous improvement.
  • This is why, each year, we invest more than 5 % of our turnover in a technical infrastructure that meets state-of-the-art criteria, ranging from PC-aided development and fully automated pressure die casting to high-precision CNC machining.
  • This is why our 600 employees continue to upskill at our two sites in Nuremberg and Flossenbürg.
